Lesson 3: Part 3 – Educational Journeys

Educational Journey’s are exactly what they sound like, a process of educating your contacts, leads & possibly previous contacts about your products, offerings, new additions etc. While Educational Journey’s do have some overlap with Acquisition & Nurture Journey’s, they are categorized separately due to the wider net being cast, in the sense that acquisition and nurture journeys are unique because they occur within the first 30 days of someone coming in contact with your business, while Educational Journeys can occur at any stage of the customer life cycle.

The second thing about Educational Journeys is that they don’t necessarily have to be structured Journey’s – they can often be structured as a campaign (one time send) which then leads to either additional segmenting or an additional journey based on their interaction with the campaign.
